Phillip Kaminiak is a Berlin- and Mexico City-based DoP and photographer. A 2013 graduate of the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin, his short films and documentaries have been screened at festivals worldwide.

His debut feature The Woman Behind the Wall earned a nomination for the prestigious German Grimme TV Prize,

followed by the acclaimed The Weather Inside. Phillip has since directed over 200 commercials and music videos, as well as the TV feature and cinema production Empire (2018).

Expanding into photography and directing, his short Cass & Lex won multiple awards, and his video art After Hours was showcased at the renowned C/O Berlin Gallery.
